is an author, director, advertising creative, producer and a professor of Communication. He won over 100 creative awards, not only Art Director's Gold medals, Cannes Awards, and Gold Awards at Clio for his commercials but also the Grimme Award, Germany's TV Oscar, for his groundbreaking film "The A - Z of Separating People From Their Money" which stars Dennis Hopper.
After graduating in Communication from the University of Fine Arts in Berlin, and studying film directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, Hermann worked from 1982-1994 as an Executive Creative Director of advertising agencies in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, New York and London. Hermann's independent career started when he founded Hermann Vaske's Emotional Network.
